Lock Haven Foundation Scholarships for 2024-2025
NEW INCOMING FRESHMEN & TRANSFER STUDENTS:
HOW CAN I APPLY FOR A SCHOLARSHIP?
To provide new students with the best possible scholarship package, we have bundled our former standalone scholarships into your freshman or transfer merit scholarship. Incoming students have already been awarded available scholarships.
CURRENTLY ENROLLED STUDENTS: (does not include students who are still in high school)
Students only need to complete ONE application to apply for ALL Lock Haven Foundation scholarships. Scholarships are awarded based on various criteria such as GPA, major, minor, and financial need. Some scholarships are one-time awards while others may be renewable. Scholarships that require financial need require you to submit the
2024-2025 FAFSA.
NOTIFICATION OF AWARD:
Recipients will be notified via their University email account if they have been selected to receive a scholarship.
SCHOLARSHIP PAYMENTS:
Scholarship awards are split between the fall and spring semesters and will be listed as part of your financial aid package. Unless otherwise stated, half of your scholarship award will be applied to your university tuition bill at the start of the fall 2024 semester and the other half will be applied to your spring 2025 semester bill. Students who withdraw from the University will lose their scholarship.
SCHOLARSHIP AGREEMENT:
Awardees will be required to complete an online scholarship agreement which will include a thank you letter to their scholarship donor and completion of a brief "Recipient Profile." You will also be asked to attend a scholarship reception to meet the donor. The Lock Haven Foundation will send invitations with additional information.
